production method | The yellow mercury oxide and ethyl ether, potassium hydroxide ethanol solution were stirred together, the reaction system was maintained at a negative pressure (33.3kPa), and freshly distilled acetone hydrazone was added dropwise to the mixture. Stirring was continued to depressurize to 15mm Hg, and 2-diazopropane and diethyl ether were simultaneously distilled off and condensed in the receiver (the receiving condensing system was maintained at -78 °c). The yield of 2-diazopropane was 70-90%. |
